Drawing Center Diepenheim organizes two (children’s) workshops during the autumn holidays.

Children’s workshop – Garden drawing
Date: Wed October 20 (autumn break)
Location: Grotestraat 17, Diepenheim
Time: 14.00 – 15.30 (with intermission)
Costs: € 5.00 per child, incl. material, drinks and goodies
Age: 7 – 12 years

Drawing does not always have to be done with pencil and paper. In this workshop we go outside and leave our pencils at home. We are going to draw with wool outside in the gardens of Drawing Center Diepenheim. How can you draw with a thread? Artist herman de vries believes that nature is art. We use his garden full of plants and flowers as inspiration and turn the garden into a large colored line drawing.

Family workshop – Your cartoon
Date: Thu 21 October (autumn holiday)
Location: Kuimgaarden 1, Diepenheim
Time: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. (with intermission)
Costs: € 12.50 per family, incl. material, drinks and goodies
Age: for all family members

What story does your family tell? There are many stories to discover in Asbjørn Skou’s exhibition in the Drawing Center. We look at his drawings and then get to work ourselves. You will draw your story together with your mother, aunt, grandfather, brother or another family member. At the end of the workshop, we merge all the drawings into one work: your family story.
